At the Places _ VR Festival 2021 we already looked into the future of urban planning in cooperation with lala.ruhr with the project imagine.green.urban.futures. Now lala.ruhr is hosting the Biennale of the Urban Landscape (September 10-24) in Gelsenkirchen-Ückendorf, asking how we can reinvent the city in the face of climate change.
We are part of the Biennale and are responsible from 11-17.09. the thematic focus “Digital Realities”. From now on you can find all information about our program in the program webapp. For example, you can learn more about the 20 Hackathon in Residence participants in the Hackathon in Residence section. They come from all over Europe, bringing with them a wide range of expertise, and will thus spend a week developing prototypes for the sustainable city of the future. You can test and explore the teams’ prototypes yourself on guided tours.
In the festival app you will also find our program with talks, panels, deep dives, VR excursions and workshops, which will be updated continuously in the coming days.
